Your Money Story
Income
Money that comes in: your paycheck, side work, benefits, a one-time payment. Each one lands in the forecast on its own days, the opposite of a bill. The first one that repeats is your paycheck: the set-aside, the loan and the per-paycheck funds use its paydays.

Monthly Bills
Savings funds
Money you put aside for something: an emergency fund, a trip, a car. Each fund comes out of your paychecks like a bill, before your spending money, and the forecast shows it growing. Already saved is what is in the fund today, apart from your cash on hand.
Weekly Spending Plan
What you expect to spend each week on everyday things. Whatever's left under your weekly limit is banked in the forecast. If you have seasonal bills, the limit is lower in those months, and what you bank in the other months covers it.
Forecast
Starts this month from your cash on hand. The current month counts only bills you haven't paid yet and the rest of this month's living. Bills and savings funds come out first, then living, and every dollar left is banked. Click any month to see the day-by-day breakdown. Type a number in Spent to add spending in a month and it recalculates down the line.
Taxes
For income where no tax is taken out (self-employed, side work, gig apps), tick No tax taken out on that income and this shows roughly what to set aside for it. Estimated with Head of Household brackets and Michigan state tax, the standard deduction, and child credits for any dependents you enter. Business deductions and work miles lower it. Estimate only. Check it with a tax pro.
Cloud Sync not connected
Link this business to the Finance Crystal Ball backend so it saves on the server and syncs across your PC and phone. Enter your details β nothing is stored in the app itself.
Integrations β auto-pull sales
Connect a store (read-only β it never changes anything) and it auto-fills your sales, growth trend and stock levels. You still enter cash on hand, expenses and purchase orders yourself β your store doesn't know your bank balance or payroll.
Log in to your bank to auto-fill Cash on hand β the one number the stores can't see. Read-only: it can never move money.
